Shishito Pepper
This pepper variety originally comes from Japan. It gives a bountiful harvest of small wrinkled fruits, about 10 cm in length. Very productive, it will yield at least 25 peppers per plant. The red peppers (when ripe) are equally delicious if eaten earlier, when they are still green. They are mild and sweet but can be bit spicy, especially if dried. Compact plant, ideal for small gardens. Package: 30 seeds.

Norfolk Spinach
This spinach variety is very rare. It comes from a convent, the Congregation of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul in Kingston, ON. These sisters grew over 400 different cultivars of vegetables, fruits, and herbs. They're offered us some treasures that have been grown for over a century. Some of their seed packages were even written using a typewriter. Corn salad
This vegetable thrives in the cold. Therefore, it should be sown early in the spring, or at the end of summer, in an compost enriched soil. Its leaves are allegedly as rich in beta-Carotene as carrots, and a good source of vitamins A and C, and of iron. We produce 95% of our seeds on our farm. Unfortunately, cornsalad seeds are hard to produce in Quebec. These seeds were thus purchased from an organic seed saver in the United States. Package: 200 seeds

Clary Sage
Clary sage is a perennial plant that is valued both for its culinary and ornemental qualities. The flowers are white with some purplish blue undertones, and are an absolute delight for bees. It is used just like common sage, but some recommend using clary sage for more extended uses. In popular medicine, the leaves are used to heal wounds. Clary sage has been grown since Antiquity for its medicinal properties. This plant only starts flowering on the second year, but it is well worth the wait to see the carpenter bees and hawk-moths feast on the blooms. Package: 30 seeds

Strawberry blite
Native to North America. The strawberry blite is one of those forgotten vegetables that are making a strong comeback to our gardens. It is grown both for its leaves that can be eaten raw in a salad or steamed, and for its red berries. Although, do not be mistaken: despite their appearance and the name, these berries taste more like beets than strawberries. The fruit should be eaten in moderate quantities as the seeds contains some toxic compounds. The fruits were also used by Native Americans to make a red dye. Package: 50 seeds
