La variété Montréal 61 produit une abondance uniforme de petites tomates (8 cm, 3 po) d’un rouge vif sur un plant compact. Ces fruits arrivent à maturité en moins de 65 jours après la transplantation. Jim et Rachelle Ternier, de Prairie Garden Seeds, ont cultivé cette variété pendant plusieurs années. D’après leurs informations, les semences leur auraient été fournies par le département de l’agriculture des États-Unis (USDA), qui les aurait obtenues de M. Bramhill, de Simcoe, Ontario, en 1956. Port déterminé. Variété rare.
